Red Mountain

Colorado is a land of stark contrast. In the foreground is a lush valley situated between two mountains. Once a mighty river flowed here, but now just a small stream. The thick forest has reclaimed most of the valley. On the other side of this lush, green wooded area is a tall stone mountain. Plants cannot penetrate this thick rock so it stand there, barren. The stone has a red huge, rich in iron giving it the rusty color. High above is the beautiful blue sky with clouds forming directly over the iron mountain.
