Shining Monarch

Grand Prismatic

As the leaves on the trees changed colors and the days grew shorter, the monarch butterflies were on their annual migration to warmer weather in the south. In this field of Sunflowers, one of the monarchs stopped for something to eat before continuing on. It was a beautiful day for flying...no wind...not a cloud in the sky...a bright, sunny day. Safe travels your majesty.
